  • Overview

    Maintaining the aircraft mask and logical subgroups in the MIS (TRAX).


    • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate. (e.g. emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments.)
    • Establish and maintain responsibility for the configuration management (CM) of developmental and operational system with regulatory, quality, company, and customer (both internal and external) requirements
    • Maintain aircraft mask and logical subgroups such as engine and turban wheels by providing asset, inventory, license management, and logistical support for the program
    • Approve component/part interchangeability and affectivity and regulate the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and software
    • Develop, manage and maintain CM plans, standard operating procedures, and policies
    • Audit the system to ensure all required components are installed and tracking correctly
    • Coordinate with Maintenance Programs and Engineering with the above requirements to ensure accuracy
    • Ensure newly delivered aircraft and components are tracking correctly.
    • Identify AD requirements applicable to Spirit fleet.
    • Maintain aircraft structure
    • Prepare reports for management, team members and FAA as required
    • Conduct system audits


    • Airframe and Power Plant Certification 
    • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
    • Must be proficient in the use of MS Office products
    • Must be proficient in the use of OEM documentation
    • Must have knowledge of aircraft structures, aircraft maintenance manuals, maintenance program requirements and life limited parts
