  • Overview

    Ensure the Control and administration of Spirit Airlines Airbus Maintenance Program, Control and administration of Spirit Airlines Reliability Program, and Ensure regulatory compliance with regard to both the above programs. This position also responsible for maintenance business partner (Lufthansa) compliance with reliability and regulatory standards.

    Responsibilities

    • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate. (e.g. emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments.)
    • Manage 20-25 3rd party contractors to ensure FAA reliability standards are maintained
    • Reduced maintenance costs
    • Improved fleet dispatch reliability
    • Improved aircraft safety
    • Maintenance of good working relationships with regulatory authorities
    • Compliance with latest industry trends and developments
    • Selection of Reliability and Maintenance Program Analyst personnel

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree preferred
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in related field
    • Able to travel at least 25%
    • Engineering and statistical skills
    • Analytical thinking and communicative skills both written and oral.
    • Knowledge of fundamental aircraft maintenance program development theory
